The Company recently opened a new Depot in Lusaka – Kamwala South area and also opened a new Depot in Western Province Solwezi. The two Depots have allowed the Company to increase its distribution network and keep to its philosophy of “Taking Food to the People”. All in all the Company wants to achieve its mandate of being a household brand via its motto of Home is where Mealile Is”.
Furthermore the Company is looking to penetrate new zones for strategic Depot placement on the Copperbelt, Eastern and Northern Provinces. This will help in creating a competitive environment as most of these market zones are predominantly a preserve of competitors.
Ultimately this should result in achieving our sales targets as we live up to our core function of being a market leader in maize milling, marketing and distribution.
